This week, we will focus on the last part of our vision - reaching our community and world with the Good News of Jesus. We serve a God of mission who seeks to redeem his world and make things right again. God sent Jesus for this purpose - to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God - and Jesus sends us to do the same (Luke 4:16-21, Luke 4:43, Luke 9:1-2, Luke 10, John 17:18, John 20:21). In fact, as God's church, we have been sent to live out and proclaim the Good News AND to share that Good News here, there, and everywhere (Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8).
