Summer in Scripture: Wednesday Nights Are Going Deeper This Summer

Summer is here, and Wednesday nights at New Hope are taking on a fresh rhythm for the season. We're calling it Summer in Scripture.

What Is Summer in Scripture?

Our Wednesday night studies — Men of Valor and Women of Hope — are spending the summer going deeper on the Sunday sermon. Each week, both groups take the message from the previous Sunday and dig into it together: more time, more conversation, more room to wrestle with what you were already thinking about on the drive home.

No homework, no prior experience needed. Just come ready to talk.

If you were in the room on Sunday and walked away with a question — or a moment that stuck with you — Wednesday night is where you bring it.

Also on Wednesday Nights: Financial Peace University

Summer in Scripture isn't the only thing happening. Financial Peace University (FPU) launches this week too, as part of Recharge.

FPU is a 9-week course from Ramsey Solutions that walks families and individuals through budgeting, eliminating debt, saving, and building generosity into their finances. It's practical, it's biblical, and it works — because handling money well isn't just a financial decision, it's a discipleship one.

Cost is $75 per person, which covers your course materials. Pay cash or card at the first session — no registration required, just show up.

And There's More

Recharge is more than one thing. Ongoing groups like First Place for Health and Wall Shakers keep meeting through the summer, and there's programming for all ages — so the whole family has a place on Wednesday nights.

Join Us This Wednesday

Recharge meets every Wednesday night at New Hope Church — worship in The Garage at 6:30, classes at 7.

If you've been looking for a reason to plug into midweek community this summer, this is it. Come for one Wednesday and see what you think.

We'd love to see you there.
