Catch the Vision: What You Missed on Sunday!
Did You Miss Worship on January 11?
If you missed worship on Sunday, you missed a defining moment for our church.
Pastor Vicki Harrison shared the vision for New Hope’s future—a Spirit-led direction that calls each of us to a deeper level of discipleship, urgency, and purpose.
We exist to reach the lost and empower future generations through a multi-ethnic movement of disciples who make disciples.
This is not a vision for one year. It’s a movement for the years ahead. And the invitation is still open for you to be part of it.
What’s the Heart of the Vision?
This wasn’t a message about programs or preferences—it was about purpose.
Pastor Vicki invited us to embrace a “holy discontent,” the conviction that we can’t keep doing church as usual while people around us live without hope. We’re being called to shift from comfort to conviction, and from maintenance to mission.
Here are a few key truths she shared:
Discipleship is more than belief. It’s about becoming like Jesus and helping others do the same.
Remaining in Jesus is essential. Apart from Him, we can’t bear fruit (John 15).
Multiplication takes intentionality. If we don’t pursue it on purpose, it won’t happen.
“If we aren’t seeing life change in the name of Jesus… are we just spinning our wheels?”
That line hit home. It’s time to respond.
What Happens Now?
We’re not just casting vision—we’re building toward it. Starting now.
Wednesday Nights at New Hope is your next best step. This is our new midweek discipleship environment for all ages.
Recharge is the casual worship component within Wednesday Nights—a space to reconnect with God, refuel, and grow in community.
We’re also laying the groundwork for:
Disciple-making groups that help you become a disciple who makes disciples.
House Churches launching later this year to multiply spiritual families.

Let it stir something in you—and ask God what your part might be in the future He’s building here.
Know Jesus. Grow Faith. Go Multiply.
This is more than a mission statement—it’s a movement. We believe God is calling New Hope to more, and it starts with each of us living as intentional disciples of Jesus.
