Thank You for Loving Our Neighbors in Cuba
In April, New Hope Church focused our Love Our Neighbors efforts on supporting our three sister churches in Cuba—in Buey Arriba, Nuevo Yao, and Santa Cruz del Norte. These communities are continuing to face deep hardship, with extreme shortages of food, medical supplies, and consistent electricity.
Thanks to your generosity and prayerful support, here’s what we were able to send:
102 pounds of medical supplies delivered across three churches
Two full boxes of powdered milk and food items
Four boxes of over-the-counter and home-care medical supplies, including:
Ibuprofen, antihistamines, antibacterial creams, and cough drops
Bandages, gauze, gloves, and wound care essentials
Syringe sharps, tape, wipes, and more
$359 in financial support given through the month of April
Some food that could not be shipped was shared with ECHO to meet needs here in our local community.
On May 1, Pastor Roberto and Alan Howe delivered and shipped the supplies. They are expected to arrive within two weeks and will be divided between the churches.
We want to say thank you to everyone who gave, packed, and prayed. Your kindness is reaching families and churches who are faithfully sharing the love of Jesus in the midst of incredible difficulty. Let’s keep praying for them—and for all the seeds of hope this offering represents.
