This is one of our favorite days of the year.
On Wednesday, November 25, students in 6th through 12th grade are spending the day together — first around a table, then on their feet. It is the day before Thanksgiving, and we are spending it giving.
How the day runs
Breakfast first. We start at 9:00 AM in The Garage with a breakfast potluck. PSM is providing the main dish, so bring a breakfast side or a drink to share.
Then we go serve. From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM we head to Metropolitan Ministries to serve in their Holiday Tent, which is how thousands of families in our area get Thanksgiving dinner.
Back by 3:00. We return to the church for pickup.
Grab a friend and come with us. It is a good day to give back to our community, and a good day to stop and notice how much we have been given.

For parents
Getting there and back. Students are driven to Metropolitan Ministries and back by our youth volunteers. Drop-off and pickup are both at the Garage, at 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Two forms we need before your student rides. Written permission for your student to ride with a volunteer driver, and a current release on file. If you are not sure whether we have a release for your student, ask Emmy and she will check.
