The Word That Changes Everything
There is one word that can change the trajectory of a young person's faith.
Yes.
Yes, we'll send you. Yes, we'll support you. Yes, there is a place for you here — not just in a pew, but in a role, in a purpose, in a future that matters.
The New Hope Legacy Fund exists so that word doesn't have to depend on a family's financial situation.
What the Fund Actually Does
The Legacy Fund invests in the next generation through leadership development, spiritual growth, missions, internships, conferences, and ministry training. Its purpose is straightforward: equip and empower young people to lead the church and grow God's Kingdom.
But what does that look like in practice?
This summer, the Legacy Fund is helping send six middle and high school students to camp — where they will build Christ-centered friendships and begin developing a faith they can call their own. For some of these students, this trip would not happen without the fund. The Legacy Fund is the reason they get to go.
This summer it's also supporting young adults exploring a call to ministry through hands-on internship opportunities. These are students stepping out in obedience, asking hard questions about where God might be leading them — and the fund creates the space for that discernment to happen.
And looking ahead to February 2027, the Legacy Fund will help send eighteen young adults to the Passion Conference in Atlanta — a weekend of worship, prayer, teaching, and spiritual renewal that has sparked deep faith and ignited a passion for ministry in young leaders at New Hope for years.
A Fund, Not a Program
One thing worth understanding about the Legacy Fund: it is not a program with a fixed budget and a predetermined calendar. It is a resource held in trust for the next generation — intentionally set aside so that when opportunities arise, the answer doesn't have to be "we don't have the money."
As Pastor Julie Hamilton puts it, one of the greatest blessings of this fund is simply being able to say yes — to students and young adults who feel led to serve, learn, and grow, but who may not have the financial means to participate on their own.
