Global Mission Partners

At New Hope Church, our mission is to Know Jesus, Grow Faith, and Go Multiply. Global missions is how we live out the “Go Multiply” part of that vision—by empowering disciples to make more disciples across the world.

In our global partnerships, we support leaders and communities as they transform lives—spiritually and practically. These missions empower sustainable change and lasting hope.

If you’re interested in connecting with one of these incredible organizations, contact Rev. Alan Howe at (813) 689-4161 (office) or (315) 415-3567 (mobile), or email him—unless otherwise noted below.

Methodists United in Prayer (Cuba Partnerships)

We have three sister churches in Cuba: two in the Granma region (Buey Arriba and Nuevo Yao) and one in Santa Cruz del Norte, northeast of Havana.

These relationships are at the heart of our mission work. We support local pastors and churches as they share the Gospel in a country with deep spiritual hunger and many practical challenges.

We send supplies regularly and take small teams to visit annually. The churches in Cuba are vibrant, growing, and full of contagious faith.

ZOE Empowers

ZOE Empowers offers a powerful three-year program that helps orphans and vulnerable children in Africa and India break the cycle of poverty and abuse.

Children form empowerment groups—new “extended families”—and are given resources, training, and spiritual encouragement to become self-sustaining leaders in their communities.

New Hope partners with a group in Mozambique, made up of 28 orphan households and 93 children. We call them the Miracle Group. We pray regularly for their health, crops, safety, and spiritual growth—and we visit them through annual mission trips.

Foundation 4 Orphans (F4O)

Foundation 4 Orphans has served in Mozambique for years with a vision to end the orphan crisis through empowerment, not dependency.

F4O now partners with ZOE Empowers and uses their model to help orphans become leaders who never need charity again. New Hope teams visit annually to support and learn from the empowerment groups.

Somali Refugee Ministry

In Uganda and across East Africa, many Somali families have fled war and hardship. One of those refugees—Adam Dadir—has become a leader in Christ’s mission to bring hope to others.

Adam, along with his wife Sahara Ibrahim, ministers to Somali refugee families through prayer, worship, discipleship, and pastoral care. Their ministry, Somali Believers Ministry, seeks to raise up a new generation of youth who lead with integrity and resist corruption.

New Hope is honored to provide office space and support to their growing mission.
