Pre-Teen Children’s Ministry Coordinator
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The NH Pre-Teen Children’s Ministry Coordinator provides leadership and care for every aspect of the kid’s ministry for grades 4th-6th at New Hope. As well as fully embraces the mission, vision, and values of New Hope. Passionate about sharing NH Kids ministry vision with families in the church, people in the community, and volunteers.

Part-Time - 10 hours per week
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Relationships:
Assess needs, cultivate and nourish relationships with children and their families
Devotes time to staying knowledgeable and current on children's culture and issues related to children's and family ministry
Programs:
Developing & assisting in the planning and execution of events like Easter, VBS, fall festival, summer events, Christmas, and family experiences as required
Church Integration:
Creates opportunities to integrate elementary-aged kids into the life of the church and the church into the lives of kids and their families.
Serve:
Serve as the elementary PHASE expert Discipleship
Implement our SERVE Model by selecting, equipping, relating, validating, and empowering a volunteer team
Provides opportunities for children to grow in their devotion to Christ
Provide opportunities for children to grow together as the community of New Hope
Leadership Development:
Identify and mentor student leaders and adult volunteers
Communication:
Communicate regularly and clearly with parents, teachers, and the director about ministry plans and activities
Maintains the highest integrity regarding spiritual and moral health
Is part of New Hope church services
Leads with authenticity & creativity
Teamwork:
Works with and cares for other ministry leaders to achieve children's/Family ministry goals
Committed to challenging but fair dialogue and Biblical conflict resolution
Uses strengths to energize and enable team
Committed to growth and honesty in areas of weakness
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate
Special Certifications/Qualifications:
A fully devoted follower of Christ
A strong love for children and a passion for mission both within and outside the church
Self-motivated and called to ministry
Relational versatility: able to work with children, students, parents, staff members, team leaders, volunteers, and the congregation
Experience
6 months experience - volunteer or paid staff
Specific Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Communicate ministry plans and activities
Communicate the vision for Club 456 Ministry
Discretion and good judgment with delicate personal information, and matters of confidentiality
Flexible to adjust work hours as required- evenings, weekends, etc.
Organizational skills:
Proficient with emails
Proficient with social media
Clean & Organized
Displays a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards ministry
Energizes and invigorates others and resolves interpersonal conflicts in a biblical manner
