Be a Light in the Dark
Theme: Be a Light in the Dark
Verse: “No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light. (Luke 8:16)
We live in a world filled with darkness. But the beauty in that reality is this: it gives believers the perfect opportunity to shine. In the midst of confusion, fear, and doubt, Christians can be a steady, radiant presence—guiding others toward hope, peace, and truth.
You don’t need fame, a massive following, or a platform to be a light. Every one of us holds influence—whether we see it or not. A kind word, a helping hand, an honest conversation—those everyday actions have the power to reflect the light of Jesus.
And even though the world may feel more distant from God than ever, there are glimmers of change. That’s where we step in.
Jesus called us to be the light of the world, not so that others can see how great we are, but so they can see how great our God is. His love shines through us when we choose to live with purpose, kindness, and bold faith.
So go ahead—flip the switch. Live your life in a way that invites people to see God’s love more clearly. Not for applause, but for His glory.
Have a GREAT week!
