Join the Men of Valor 40 Acts of Kindness Challenge

A Different Kind of Lent

Lent is often marked by what we give up.

This year, Men of Valor is choosing to focus on what we give away.

Beginning Ash Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the men of New Hope Church will unite for a 40 Acts of Kindness Challenge. For 40 days leading to Easter, we will intentionally serve others through simple, powerful acts of love.

40 Acts — Together

The goal is not for every man to complete 40 acts alone.

The goal is 40 acts together.

Helping a neighbor.
Writing an encouraging note.
Buying a meal for someone in need.
Donating needed items.
Serving quietly without recognition.

These acts reflect who we are called to be as disciples of Jesus.

Grow in Faith. Go Multiply.

Each participant will receive a short daily text message with Scripture and encouragement to stay focused throughout Lent.

This challenge is about more than kindness. It is about becoming men who:

  • Follow Jesus boldly

  • Serve humbly

  • Love sacrificially

  • Multiply disciples in everyday life

As New Hope Church, we exist to reach the lost and empower future generations through a multi-ethnic movement of disciples who make disciples. This is one way we live that mission.

Join the Challenge

If you are ready to step into Lent with purpose, strength, and brotherhood, join us.

Iron sharpens iron. Stronger together.
