Where Are We Headed? Vision 2026 | Rev. Vicki Harrison
Where are we headed, New Hope?
Have you ever felt a “holy discontent”—a restlessness that tells you there must be more? In this powerful vision message, Pastor Vicki Harrison invites us to wrestle with that very question: Where is God calling New Hope Church in this next season?
You’re invited to watch the full worship service video or listen to the sermon audio as you reflect on what it means to be a disciple who makes disciples.
What is God Calling Us to Do?
New Hope’s Vision is both clear and compelling:
We exist to reach the lost and empower future generations through a multi-ethnic movement of disciples who make disciples.
This isn’t just a new phrase. It’s a holy invitation—to trade comfort for conviction, and routines for real movement.
Here are some key takeaways from Pastor Vicki’s message:
1. The most important thing is leading people to Jesus.
That’s the heart behind everything. As Pastor Vicki vulnerably shared,
“If we aren’t leading new people to Jesus… if we aren’t seeing life change in His name… are we just spinning our wheels?”
2. Discipleship is the core calling.
A disciple is someone actively training in the ways of Jesus and training others in the ways of Jesus. It's not passive belief—it’s intentional formation.
Jesus said in John 15:5:
“I am the vine; you are the branches… If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.”
Two defining marks of a disciple:
Remaining (abiding) in Jesus through daily connection
Bearing fruit—both inward (spiritual maturity) and outward (multiplication)
3. Multiplication requires intentionality.
Disciples don’t happen by accident. Pastor Vicki challenged us:
“If we don’t intentionally put structures in place to reach the lost and empower the next generation, it won’t happen.”
Putting Vision into Practice
Take a moment and reflect:
Where do you feel a “holy discontent” in your spiritual life?
What’s one area where God might be calling you to more?
Are you currently growing as a disciple and helping others grow?
At New Hope, we’re putting this vision into action—offering new Wednesday Night classes, disciple-making groups, and exploring House Churches later this year. The goal? Multiplication.
We’re not just a church for ourselves—we’re a church for the people who aren’t here yet.

A Vision Worth Sacrificing For
We believe this isn’t just a church initiative. It’s a move of God. As Pastor Vicki reminded us, we’re loved by a God who gave everything so we could live in freedom and purpose. Now it’s our turn to live intentionally—so others can experience the same grace.
Let’s go, New Hope. God has called us to more.
Know Jesus. Grow Faith. Go Multiply!
This is our mission—and it’s how we live into the 2026 Vision of becoming a multi-ethnic movement of disciples who make disciples.
